CHOOSE YOUR DOG
AGILITY is a dog sport in which a handler directs a dog through an obstacle
course, marking for time and accuracy. Dogs run off leash and the handler's
control is limited to voice, movement, and various body signals, aiming at
precision and speed.
COMPETITIVE OBEDIENCE is a sport in which a handler directs the dog
through a series of highly structured behaviours demonstrating control,
accuracy and precision on the part of both dog and their person.
FLYBALL is a relay dog sport where teams of dogs race against each other from a start/finish line, over several hurdles, to a box that releases a tennis ball by a spring-loaded pad. Once the ball is caught the dog returns to handler with the ball which triggers the next canine team member to start. DISC DOG is a competitive partnership sport where dogs and their human Frisbee throwers compete in distance catching and freestyle choreographed catching routines.
